N32H78x Series Introduction
The N32H78x series, developed by NSING, is a high-performance, multi-core microcontroller with an integrated GPU. It primarily targets intelligent control systems, such as those in embodied robotics and industrial automation, and offers the following advantages:
• Superior Dual-Core Operation
The chip features a heterogeneous dual-core architecture based on an Arm® Cortex®-M7 core (operating at up to 600 MHz, delivering 1284 DMIPS) and a Cortex®-M4F core (300 MHz). This provides powerful main control and real-time co-processing capabilities, supports DSP instructions, double-precision floating-point operations, and includes a Memory Protection Unit (MPU), forming a solid foundation for complex algorithms and precise control.
• Efficient Co-Processing and Secure Storage
Incorporates a Cordic algorithm accelerator, filter accelerator (FMAC), Delta-Sigma module (DSMU), and a hardware encryption/decryption engine, significantly enhancing real-time control efficiency. It offers up to 2 MB of encrypted Flash memory and 1504 KB of SRAM, with support for external memory expansion.
• Rich Connectivity and High-Precision Analog
Integrates 2x USB HS OTG, Gigabit/100Mbps Ethernet, an EtherCAT slave interface, 8x CAN FD channels, and multiple serial ports to meet diverse device interconnection needs. The analog section includes three 12-bit 5Msps ADCs, high-speed DACs, and comparators, ensuring high-precision signal acquisition.
• Ultra-High-Precision Timers and Image Processing
Equipped with two sets of ultra-high-precision SHRTIMs supporting 100ps resolution PWM, ideal for complex power topologies and rapid fault protection. Integrated interfaces include DVP, MIPI, and TFT-LCD, alongside a 2.5D GPU and JPEG codec, enabling advanced image processing and display.
• High Reliability and Security
Complies with industrial safety standards such as IEC 61508, supports ECC error correction, operates over a wide temperature range (-40°C to +105°C), and has passed 4 kV ESD and EFT immunity tests, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
The series provides chip-level solutions for applications including frequency converters, servo drives, robotics, photovoltaic inverters, Battery Management Systems (BMS), automotive On-Board Chargers (OBC), and industrial Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
